It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Rendek of Painesville, Ohio, who passed away on April 24, 2026, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Rendek and Mary Louise Rendek; his stepfather Donald Mackey; and his sister Mary McCrone. He is survived by: his wife Debra Rendek; his children, Aja Sill (Tom), Willie Rendek (Taylor) and Alexander Rendek; his stepsons, Bryan and Matt Russell; and his brother Louis Rendek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home (667 Mentor Ave, Painesville, OH 44077). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (316 5th St, Fairport Harbor, OH 44077). A burial was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Riverside Cemetery (385 Riverside Dr, Painesville, OH 44077).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lake County Animal Shelter.
