She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Pettit and Lulu Pettit; her husband Donald Calkins Sr.; her children, Debbie Calkins (Brown) and Timothy Calkins; her granddaughter Karen S. Calkins; her siblings, Jane Pettit, Betty Pettit, Jack Pettit and Sonny Pettit; and her siblings-in-law, James Calkins and Harriet Bruner.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Calkins Jr., Ronald Calins and Sue Calkins; her sister Joan Barnes; and her sister-in-law Retta Henry. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter.
