She is survived by: her children, Jalen Powell and Takayla King; her adoptive sons, Derohn Hamilton and Dale Maddox; her grandchild Jaquise Powell; her adoptive sons, Latia Maddox, Isaiah Maddox and Layla Maddox; her parents, Carolyn King-Thomas and Clifton Thomas; and her siblings, Aprile King, Carolyn King (Nettie), Kristen King (Moon), Latoya King (Marty) and Steven King. She is also survived by nieces/ nephews, aunts/uncles, cousins, friends.
