Ruth Ann Nicholson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Ann Nicholson of Painesville, Ohio, who passed away on September 21, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Garfield Pierce and Emma Mae Doebereiner Pierce; her former husband Dale Henry Nicholson Sr.; and her siblings, Arthur, Robert, Clarence, Nettie Francis, Helen Seckman, Esther Hood, Betty Lohr and Ethel Wayner.

She is survived by: her children, Dale Henry Nicholson Jr. (Linda Marie), James Euguene Nicholson, Daniel Lee Nicholson Sr. (Patricia Jean "PJ") and Constance Ann O'Dell; and her grandchildren, Nicole Marie Bennington (Frank), Melissa Jean Nicholson, Michelle Ann Young (Jeffrey), Daniel Lee Nicholson Jr. (Heather), Russell David Raymond (Tanya), Ashley Marie Yonchak (Steve), Amanda Renee Nicholson (Robert) and Michael Richard Nicholson (Amanda). She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
