He is survived by: his mother Betty Lou Updike (Leachman); his wife Lynn Updike (Reese); his children, Megan Rael (Jose), Alan Updike (Sarah) and Justin Updike (Victoria); his son-in-law Tom Gozelinchick; his grandchildren, Dylan Gozelinchick, Christian, Juliana, Noah, Nicolas Rael, Owen, Calli, Blake, Nolan Updike and Savannah Brockway; and his sister Sandra Gallagher (Michael). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
