He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Dagnan and Catherine Dagnan (Granda); his siblings, Susie Horner and Larry "Buck" Meier; and the mother of his children Joann Dagnan (Barcus).

He is survived by: his children, Daniel of Geneva, Bryan of Chardon and Carie Dagnan of Cleveland; his grandchildren, Daniel, Jasmine, Chloe, Amaya, Riley, Catherine, Jayce and Landon; and his siblings, James Dagnan (Linda) of Eastlake, Diane Meier of Leroy and Ellis "Sonny" Horner Champion.
