She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Zamec and Vida Mae (Peterlin); her brother Curt Zamec; and her grandson Benjamin Thomas. She is survived by: her husband James Prekler; her children, Richard Shenker (Becky), Lynn Thomas (Paul) and Thomas Shenker (Melody); her grandchildren, Shawn Shenker, Aaron Shenker, John Samuel Shenker (Anne Jackson), Garrison Shenker, Jared, Aaron Thomas and Morriah Harp; and her great grandchildren, Sean, Hailey, Payton, Ramee, Reed and Rowe.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in memory of Vida to Hospice of the Western Reserve, P. O. Box 72101, Cleveland, Ohio 44192.
