He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Cherry and Betty Cherry (Roy); and his friend Jackie Stotts. He is survived by: his children, Lori Moorman (Jerry) of Columbus Grove, Greg Cherry (Lisa) of McComb and Brad Cherry (Jennie) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Lynae Stacy (Matt), Brandon Anspach (Brooke), Lindsi Doster (Corbin), Rachel Quiroga (Caleb), Matthew Cherry (Katie), Michael Cherry (Abby), Heidi Conine (Kyle), Emme Cherry (Nolan German) and Ali Cherry; and his siblings, Roy Cherry (Jan) of Dover and Patricia Sherick (Bud) of Findlay. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Love Funeral Home - Ottawa (405 E 3rd St, Ottawa, OH 45875). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Putnam County CAP.
