Nancy E. Thornton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy E. Thornton (Pandora, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 14, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nancy E. Thornton to pay them a last tribute.
Though Nancy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nancy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Montgomery and Helen Montgomery (Bell); her husband Richard "Dick" Thornton; and her siblings, William Montgomery and Joan Basinger.
She is survived by: her brother David Montgomery (Brenda) of West Liberty, Ohio; and her sister-in-law Sue Montgomery of Hartville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pandora United Methodist Church (108 E Washington St, Pandora, OH 45877). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jun Funeral Service.
