He was predeceased by : his father Ralph Roland; and his wife Julienne Shafer. He is survived by : his sons, John Michael Burkhart of Ottawa, James Paul Burkhart (Lisa) of Ottawa and Joseph Lynn Burkhart of Ottawa; his grandson Darren Scott Burkhart of Ottoville; and his brothers, Frederick Lee Burkhart of Greenville, TN and David Brent Burkhart of Alger.
Memorial donations may be made to the Putnam County.
