With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen J. Hanus of Parkman, Ohio, who passed away on May 24, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Kathleen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Stawicki and Genevieve Stawicki (Frydryszczyk); and her siblings, Frank J. Stawicki and Florence Brown. She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie Makowski (Steve) and Sharon Catley (Gary Kaufman); and her grandchildren, Sherry Peters (Nate), Jake Makowski, Alysha Harvey (Brenton), Nick Catley, James Catley and Ben Catley. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parkman Congregational Church (18265 Madison Rd, Middlefield, OH 44062).
