He was predeceased by: his wife Janet; his parents, Adrian and Cecilia; and his brothers, Richard (Doris), Donald (Peg) and Phillip (Shirley).
He is survived by: his son James Hargis (Jessica); his grandchildren, Gavin, Vaughn and Zeke Hargis; his sister Vivian Forsthoffer (Rich); and his friend Arlene Johnson.
