He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Morris Meerdink and June Meerdink; his wife Victoria; his sisters, Kristine Gaston and Julie Root (Dale); his nieces, Emily Root (Terry Pokornik), Annie Rigda (Alex), Rebecca Grimm (John) and Rachel Civittolo (Steven Richardson); his great-nephew Charles Grimm; his great-nieces, Avery Pokornik and Ivy Rigda; his parents-in-law, Mary Ann Dickman and Neil Dickman; and his sisters-in-law, Terri Civittolo (Anthony) and Heidi Long (Kenneth). He was also cherished by cousins and the many friends.
