He was predeceased by : his parents, Gertrude and Mike. He is survived by : his wife Marilyn Sesock; his children, Mark Sesock (Laine) and Kathy Roldan; his grandchildren, Shawn Sesock, Sebastian Roldan (Allison Frueh), Jordyn Nakon (Michael), Savanna Nam (Christopher) and Dyllan Sesock; his great grandchild Jia Jean Nam; and his brother Bobby Sesock (Sandi).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be given to Divinity Lutheran Church in John's honor.
