He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Mary Bonnell and Peter J. Bonnell; his siblings, Peter J. Bonnell and Lucille Horkan (Karen Bonnell); his daughters, Deborah Sullivan (Matthew), Colette Mayer (John) and Lynne Hammond (Dane); his grandchildren, Carl Sullivan, Kelly Slater (Shaun), Bret Mayer (Erin), Andrea Prezzia (Dominic), Jake Hammond (Alyssa) and Emily Hammond; and his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Wyatt and Gracie.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bridget of Kildare Parish (5620 Hauserman Rd, Parma, OH 44130).
