He was predeceased by: his parent Irma Bakalar; and his brother Leonard Marcentile (Ron). He is survived by: his children, Alicia and Ronnie Marcentile (Elizabeth); his grandson Joseph; his siblings, Donna Summers (Dave), James Marcentile (Iris) and Linda Bakalar (Mark); his siblings' children, Shelly Stotzer (Joe), Christina Marcentile (Shawn), Catherine Warner (Les), Georgette Crawford (Dwayne), Arthur Marcentile (Josie), Charles Marcentile (Katelyn), Jason Clark (Amy) and Scott Clark (Molly); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cambria Stotzer, Autumn Crawford, Ava Stotzer, Andrew Wintersteller, Madelyn Crawford, Brayden Warner and Alison Wintersteller; and his friends, Bob Swanson, Bobby Osborne, Buddy Osborne, Butch Bubleavy, Dave Schalmo, Steve Estep, Rick, Laurie Lamb, Frank Frabrizzi, Lonnie Estep, Jimmy Spears, Mark Spears, Jimmy Johnson, Bob Zaggety, Troy Webb, Nickie and Marty Terstage.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cannon - Catavolos Funeral Home (6953 W 130th St, Parma Heights, OH 44130). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. John Bosco Catholic Church (6480 Pearl Rd, Parma Heights, OH 44130).
