He was predeceased by: his wife Lenore R.; and his mother Lee Brush. He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Brush (Jeremy McMullen) and Jennifer Brush (Grant Woltjen); and his grandchildren, Jesse Manthey, Jeremy McMullen, Jr., Gaige McMullen, Peyton McMullen, Jade Manthey, Bremen Woltjen and Amelia Woltjen.
