With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances M. Vavro of Parma, Ohio, born in Butler, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 9, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Steve Vavro; her parents, Fred Savannah and Susie Savannah (Betro); her brother Fred Savannah Jr.; and her brother-in-law Anthony Sassone.

She is survived by : her children, Cathleen Vavro of Parma, Stephen Vavro Jr. of Parma, Thomas Vavro of Parma, Timothy Vavro of California, Cheryl Eustaquio (Joseph) of California and Rodney Vavro (Shannon) of Parma; and her siblings, Mary Sassone of Arizona, Joseph Savannah (Phyllis) of Pennsylvania, Donald Savannah (Darlene) of Pennsylvania, Bernard Savannah (Susan) of Pennsylvania and Debra Albert (Robert) of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bridget of Kildare Parish (5620 Hauserman Rd, Parma, OH 44130). An entombment was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at the St. Michael's Cemetery.
