We are sad to announce that on May 18, 2025, Ingrid Shipotofsky (Parma, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Ingrid farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ingrid is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bernhard Alexander Tuiskvere and Meta Johanna Tuiskvere; her husband Saul Howard Shipotofsky; her children, Carina Diamond and Mark Shipotofsky (Sherri); and her grandchildren, Ben (Emily), Andrew, Janelle and Jordyn.

In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully encouraged to Hospice of the Western Reserve and The American Cancer Society.

“Ingrid and I shared many stories over the last few years. She was a kind and beautiful woman. She had many friends who really cared for her. She spent a lot of time writing memoirs. That was her favorite thing to do. We went on a couple of trips to the theater and she really enjoyed that. She will be missed, God bless her. Louise Fiszer.”
