She is survived by: her siblings, Kenneth Gurchensky and Marian Lundeen; and her siblings' children, John-Paul Lundeen (Alexis), Melissa Gurchensky, Sarah Bonnette (Greg) and Mary Kate Wainwright (Nelson). She is also survived by six grand nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made in Irene's name to St. Anthony of Padua Grade School.
