We announce the death of Joanne M. Jancik of Parma, Ohio, who passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 86. Joanne will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John; her children, Debbie Papp (Bob), Paula Scotch, Diane Dye (Jeff) and John Jancik; her grandchildren, Crystal, Brandon (Jenna), Jessica, Deanna (Donnie), Madaline, Melissa (Brandon), Dustin, Brittany (Parker) and Haley; her great grandchildren, Alexsa (Tay), J. J., Kylie, Olivia, Owen, Myla, Naomie and Palmer; her brothers, Wayne Gaul (Carole) and Michael Gaul (Julie); and her friend Michael McGinty.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the A. Ripepi and Sons Funeral Home (18149 Bagley Rd, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (6750 State Rd, Parma, OH 44134).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are suggested to St. Anthony of Padua Church.
