It is with sadness that the passing of John Iwaskiewych (Parma, Ohio) is shared. John, born on August 14, 1932, passed away on October 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
John will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Valentina Iwaskiewych; his children, Luba Bar, Peter Iwaskiewych (Helen) and Daniel Iwaskiewych (Lovella); his grandchildren, Luba, Romeo, Juliette and Nicholas; his great grandchild Romeo Liam; and his brother Myron Iwaskiewych. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kozij-Lazuta Funeral Home (5677 State Rd, Parma, OH 44134). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery (7700 Hoertz Rd, Parma, OH 44134).
