He was predeceased by: his parents, John Spinner and Louise Spinner; and his siblings, Jean and Bob (Kathy). He is survived by: his wife Kathryn; his sons, J. D. (Susan), Stephen (Chrissie), Todd (Michelle) and Timothy (Victoria); his grandchildren, Bailey (RosaLia), Griffin, Emma (Matthew Reese), Jacob (Emily), J. Noah (late Shelby), Hope, Johnny, Marjorie, Kathryn, Daly and Cecilia; his great grandchild Clark; and his siblings, Chuck (Patrice) and Mary Lou Lydecker (Martin).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Zabor Funeral Home (5680 Pearl Rd, Parma, OH 44129). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Church (5891 Ridge Rd, Parma, OH 44129).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that memorial donations be made in John's honor to the Parma Hunger Center or the Parma City Schools Foundation.
