We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2025, at the age of 95, Josephine F. Calio of Parma, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony; her siblings, Carmella Toncar and Attilio Catanese (Barb); and her parents, Dominic Catanese and Mary Catanese.
She is survived by: her children, JoAnn Meckes (Edward, Sr.), Annette Barnett (Antonio), Edward Meckes, Jr. (Ed Hennes), Joedda Reuter (Steven), Jeannette Babyak (Nick), Jennifer Passerell (Paul Raber) and Jonathan Passerell (Brittany); and her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Lilly, Logan, Leanna and Jace.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Busch Funeral Home (7501 Ridge Rd, Parma, OH 44129). A prayer will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (5891 Ridge Rd, Parma, OH 44129). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (14609 Brookpark Rd, Brook Park, OH 44142).
