He was predeceased by: his parents, Luada Wesel and Joseph Wesel. He is survived by: his sons, Ethan Wesel (Rachel) and Jason Wesel (Jess); and his siblings, Anne Keegan (Joseph), Joseph Wesel (Kathryn), Catherine Whelchel (Richard), David Wesel (Marcy), Marilyn Wesel and Richard Wesel (Ellen). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the A. Ripepi & Sons Funeral Home (18149 Bagley Rd, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Columbkille Parish (6740 Broadview Rd, Parma, OH 44134). A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (14609 Brookpark Rd, Brook Park, OH 44142).
