He was predeceased by : his brother Larry; his parents, Robert and Josephine; and his siblings, Lawrence, Anita and John.
He is survived by : his children, Meredith Schindler (Cameron Getto) and Richard M. (Katherine); his wife Anita; his grandchild Taran Wessells (Elyse Burns); his children, Hannah Abdelhady (Ahmed), Teilo Wessells, Esmé Getto, Marcie, Owen and Eli; and his brother Father Paul. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, siblings, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Richard "Gus" Schindler may be made to the Saint Ignatius High School Scholarship Fund (https://www.ignatius.edu), or to the CSU Foundation.
