He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stefan Scherer and Margaret Bilchik; his girlfriend Patty Hajnosz; his siblings, Ruth Seiberling (Kurt), Rena Ondak (Jim), Raymond Scherer (Marianne), Rose Stec (Jim) and Robin Kara (late Dale); his children, Adam, Ashley and Alivia; and his grandchild Grayson.
