It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ellen Barnes (Parma, Ohio), who passed away on June 16, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Ruth Ellen has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Anderson (Myers) and James Anderson; and her daughter Jennifer. She is survived by: her husband Robert; her son Brian Barnes (Darlene); and her brother-in-law Lowell Barnes (late Marge). She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Busch Funeral Home (7501 Ridge Rd, Parma, OH 44129). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Brooklyn Heights Cemetery (4700 Broadview Rd, Cleveland, OH 44109).
