He was predeceased by : his parents, Dan Bowell and Rae Bowell. He is survived by : his wife Cheri Bowell; his brothers, Michael Bowell (Patricia) and Thomas Bowell (Molly); his children, Jeffrey Bowell (Darlene) and Jennifer Hoskinson (Fontez Wilkerson); his stepdaughter Michelle Healy (Rich); his grandchildren, Caige, Caia, Allie, Lizzie, Will and Adrianna; and his nephews, Danny Bowell (Valerie), Ben Bowell (Amber) and Josh Bowell (Sarah).

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home (289 S Main St, Pataskala, OH 43062). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Tri-Village Christian Church (7509 East Broad St SW, Pataskala, OH 43062).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Organization (DAV), P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250 in Daniel's memory.
