He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer Douglas Crawford II and Mary Ellen Crawford (Hasemeyer); and his sister Priscilla Bednarz. He is survived by: his wife Evalyn Ann Crawford (Smales); and his children, Fred Goldstein (Linda) of Pataskala, Susan Goldstein (Rick Blazer) of Conyers, David Goldstein (Erin Wilichowski) of Conyers, Michael Goldstein (Denise) of Reynoldsburg, Douglas Crawford IV (Ann) and Heidi Krebs (Charles) of Columbus. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
