He is survived by: his wife Beulah Lambert Thomas; his sons, Mark Thomas (Kim) of Gallipolis and Richard Thomas of Myrtle Beach; his grandchildren, Megan Floyd (Cody), Andrea Thomas, Hannah Thomas, Ryan Thomas, Reece Thomas, Grace McFann (Caden) and Tye Thomas; and his great grandchild Tessa McFann.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home Inc. (420 1st Ave, Gallipolis, OH 45631). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the Salem Cemetery (4423 Nebo Rd, Patriot, OH 45658).
