Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Virgil Denver Durst of Patriot, Ohio, born in Cottageville, West Virginia, who passed away at the age of 86, on January 21, 2024. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ed Durst and Bertha Durst (Patterson); his siblings, Roy, Blaine, Clarence (Elva), Delbert (Irene), Sylvia Ridenour (Walter), Gladys Keefer (Lester) and Mildred Hawkins; his granddaughter Brandy Craig; and his brother-in-law Randal Brummond.

He is survived by : his wife Dottie Durst; his children, Steve Craig (Carol) of Cottageville and Anita Cheesebrew (Brent) of Patriot, OH; his grandchildren, Jeremy Craig of Cottageville, WV and Ashley Cheesebrew of Patriot, OH; his sister Hazel Brummond of Barberton, OH; and his sister-in-law Jackie Sizemore of Leon, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
