He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Johnson and Eunice Johnson (Sonnigsen); his daughter Brenda Johnson; his stepmother Rubye Johnson (Ptak); and his siblings, Richard Johnson, Jean Rieke, Carol Straley and Judy Etzler.
He is survived by: his sons, Dave Johnson (Diane) of Napoleon, OH and Dan Johnson (Jill) of Huntertown, IN; his sister Betty Layman (Ivan) of Cecil, OH; and his grandchildren, Colin N. Johnson and Bailey M. Johnson. He is also survived by 6 step grandchildren and 15 step great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 4:30 PM and on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
