With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerry O. Shidler of Paulding, Ohio, who passed away on September 27, 2025 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerry O. Shidler to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxine Shidler, (Millhouse) and Oden Shidler, Jr.; his wife Kim; his stepmother Carol Shidler; his son-in-law Robert Aylward; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Martenies and James Carr.
He is survived by: his daughters, Chin Suk Aylward, Angel Perry (Jan) and Tammy Layton (Daniel); his grandchildren, Jennifer Roe, Ryan Swihart, Collin, Callie Perry, Jackson and Alex Layton; his great grandchild Reilly Jordan; and his siblings, Renee Carr, Vanice Brames (Bill), Lynette Shidler and David Shidler.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Dooley Funeral Home (202 E River St, Antwerp, OH 45813). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
