He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Phoebe (Hicks) and Peter Wixon Treece; his son Ronald Ray Treece; his daughter-in-law Pat Treece (Plescher); and his siblings, Nancy, Richard, Frank, John, Bill, Don, Jim Treece, Margaret Reece and Elizabeth Williamson.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine (Elston); his children, Dennis Treece (Jane), Debra Caserta (Jim) and Kristy Smith (Jay); his daughter-in-law Karla Treece (Erford); and his grandchildren, Brock (Kathryn), Devon (Liz), Brant (Rachel), Dane Treece (Brittany), Shanna Barton (Andrew), Lauren Oesterle (Matthew), Brianna Treece (Nick Wobbrock), Emily Pugh (Jordan), Justin (Kylie), Grant Caserta (Caitlin), Karissa and Dayna Smith. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Grover Hill Zion Community Church (204 Harrison St, Van Wert, OH 45849).
