He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Russell and Juanita Russell (Stemen); his wife Joyce A. Chester; his siblings, Arlene Gloor, Ruth Wilmoth, Paul Arthur, Kenneth and Donald Leroy Russell; his daughter-in-law Penny Russell (Culler); and his grandson Justin Hogan.
He is survived by: his children, Rex Allen (Lisa), Chuck (Heather), Scott (Joann), Bruce, Darren Russell (Maria) and Kathy Hogan; his siblings, Thelma Ashbaugh (Roger) and Kevin Russell; his sisters-in-law, Suzanne Russell and Jean Shininger; and his godson Patrick Lannon. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Den Herder Funeral Home (1000 W Wayne St, Paulding, OH 45879). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Rex's memory to an organization of the donor's choice.
