She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles O. Bennett and Jennie M. Bennett (West); her husband Don Dennewitz; her son-in-law Larry Barnett; her grandchildren, Adam DeLong and Kimberly Ann DeLong; and her siblings, Audra Hamilton, Mabel Penrod, Ruby Plothe, Claude Bennett, Elmer Bennett, John E. Bennett, Fern Mann, Bernice Newman, Jennie Yount, Ocie Finley, Donna DePew and Bob Bennett.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Barnett of Van Wert, OH, Cyndee DeLong (Jerry) of Van Wert, OH and Mark Fleck (Kerri) of New Ellenton, SC; her stepdaughters, Kathy Comeans (Tom) and Trisha Hahn (Tim); and her grandchildren, Kristina Fought (Jason), Robert Barnett (Debbie), Jordan DeLong (Melanie), Elliott Fleck and Joshua Fleck. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Den Herder Funeral Home (1000 W Wayne St, Paulding, OH 45879). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Norma's memory to a charity of the donor's choosing.
