He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Lloyd Roberts and Hazel Roberts (Kline); and his sister Diane Kupper. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Roberts (Harris); his children, Heather Settlemire (Joe) of Spencerville, Dusten Harris (Ashley) of Grover Hill, Emily Aguirre (Timothy) of Spencerville, Jennifer Edwards (Jeremy) of Middle Point, Tiffany Roberts of Wetzel, Ericka Brown (Matthew) of Grover Hill and Garrett Zinser (Britny) of Defiance; and his siblings, Randy Roberts (Joanne) of Van Wert and Shelby Matthews (Shaun) of Van Wert. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory (722 S Washington St, Van Wert, OH 45891). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Blue Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to any local veteran's organization.
