He is survived by: his sons, Jim (Terese) and Jay Schmidt (Jodie); his grandchildren, Kierin Beasom (Mike), Emma Buchman (Eric), Andrew Schmidt (Augusta), Joe Schmidt (Virginia), Anna Schmidt and Sophia Schmidt; and his great grandchild Halden.
