He was predeceased by : his mother Susie Davis. He is survived by : his father James Davis; his sons, Daniel Duane Weathers and Brandon James Earl Shearer; his grandchildren, Jordan Nathan Roy Shearer, Landon Douglas Shearer and Gracelyn Carol; his siblings, Dave Davis, Dina Michelle Buck (Joe) and Tina Jean Zurface (Jeffrey); his great-aunt Flora Ashbaugh; and his nieces and nephews, Gennifer, Amanda, Anna, Ashley, Joe III, Ava, Chantell, Madison and Emmy.

A reception was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home (126 Main St, Peebles, OH 45660).
