He is survived by: his daughter Mary McFarland-Stanforth; his son-in-law Chad Stanforth of Peebles; his sons, Ray McFarland of Leesburg and Joseph McFarland of Belfast; and his siblings, Mike (Pam McFarland), Vicki McFarland of Tucson, Arizona and Cindy Mispilkin of Lake Forest. He is also survived by his five grandchildren.
