It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Suzi Bumgardner of Peebles, Ohio, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Salazar and Margaret Beltran Salazar; and her siblings, Martha, Lola, Jesse, Larry, Freddy and Joe.
She is survived by: her husband Ray Bumgardner of Peebles; her daughters, Donna Hay (Curtis) of Kettering, Debra Chenault (Pudge) of Idaho and Delinda Campbell (Stuart) of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Evan Hay (Tess), Elissa Hay, Emily Hay, Brandon May (Katherine), Sonia Chenault (Jeff), Joshua Campbell (Emily) and Jeremy Campbell (Miranda); her great grandchildren, Ava, Hadley, Rylyn, Raif, Elowyn, Rhett, Leah, Logan and Emily; and her siblings, Mary, Bea, Emma, Lupe and Benito.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home (314 E North St, Waverly, OH 45690). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the Mt Latham Cemetery.
