He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Cole and Eva Cole; his brother Larry Cole; and his grandson Chay Richard DeMint. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Cole (Tumbleson); his daughters, Debbie Willett (Keith) of Winchester, Nancy Dailey (Larry) of Peebles, Sandy Purdin (Randy) of Cherry Fork and Carla DeMint (Greg) of Alabama; and his siblings, Maurice Cole of Blue Creek, Ohio and Sharon Mason of Ryenoldsburg, Ohio.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brush Creek Baptist Church (3262 Fawcett Rd, Peebles, OH 45660). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 at the Brush Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (3262 Fawcett Rd, Peebles, OH 45660).
