Joseph W. Appelhans Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph W. Appelhans of Pemberville, Ohio, who passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Joseph's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Joseph has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Appelhans and Dorothy M. Appelhans (Bressler); and his son Kert Appelhans. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Slaughterbeck of Fostoria, Joseph D. Appelhans (Katty) of Pemberville and Kent Appelhans (Jennifer) of Pemberville; and his brothers, Larry and Thomas Appelhans. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion United Methodist Church (525 Krotzer Ave, Luckey, OH 43443).
