It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry A. Downey of Pemberville, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Downey of Perrysburg and Betty Wolf (Stamm); his wife Beth A. Headley; his children, Chris Downey (Lisa) of Luckey, Jennifer Steyn (Harry) of Bowling Green and Courtney Eckel (Nolan) of Perrysburg; his grandchildren, Taylor Downey, Bryce Downey, Riley Eckel and Reagan Eckel; his siblings, David Downey (Emma) of San Diego, CA, Bruce Downey of Haskins and Karen Williams; Betty Wolf of Perrysburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to The Eastwood Educational Foundation, American Alzheimer's Association or Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
