He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin August and Henrietta Marie Schuerman (Marten); his former wife Alice A. Ploetzke; his siblings, Robert Schuerman, Donald Schuerman, Virginia Shammo (Robert) and Jane Kohlenberg; and his brothers-in-law, Craig Snyder and John Bresler.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his daughters, Sherry Beamer, Susan Murphy and Carol Reifsteck (David); his stepdaughters, Sandy Pease (Neal), Teri Sand (Jeff), Marlene Kreais (Steve) and Becky Wolf; his sisters, Paulette Bresler of Bloomdale, Kathy King (Daryl), Jolene Roberts (Jim) and Luann Snyder of Luckey; and his siblings-in-law, Faye Schuerman of Pemberville, Donna Schuerman of Bowling Green and Ray Kohlenberg of Pemberville.
