We announce the death of Carolyn Sue Riffle (Peninsula, Ohio), who passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 75. Carolyn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Carolyn will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Carolyn will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Carolyn’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Baker and Louise Baker. She is survived by: her sister Kim Fincannon (Wayne); her stepsiblings, Kathi Lappin (Marty) and Keith Baker (Kelly); and her nephews, C. J. Taylor (Kristina) and Stephen Taylor (Jessica). She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Northlawn Memorial Gardens (4724 State Rd, Peninsula, OH 44264).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be to The Care Team Hospice.
