She was predeceased by : her parents, Matthew J. O'Brien and Ann O'Brien; and her brothers, Norman, Raymond (late Winifred) and John.

She is survived by : her sisters, Norma Carney (late Martin), Jane O'Connor (late Donald) and Erin O. She is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews.
