He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Rathbun and Mildred Rathbun; his wife Beverly Rathbun (Koeth); his son Tom (TR); his daughter-in-law Carrie Rathbun; and his siblings, Chester, Gerald, Keith Rathbun, Arlene Regentin and Mary Vattet.
He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Rathbun of Mooresville and Jack Rathbun (Patti) of Perry, Ohio; his sisters, Iola Strauss and Ruth Knoll; his nephew Duane Rathbun (Sandy); his granddaughters, Tiffany Jackson (Darryl), Miranda Herczeg (Mike), Cassie Garcia (Lou), Taylor Gromatzky (John) and Alexandra McNeil (Drew); and his great grandchildren, Brittyn, Leah, Harper Jackson, Luka, Ronan Herczeg, Tiberius Garcia and Merritt McNeil.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Allan's memory to support the charitable work of his nephews, Ron Rathbun and Marty Menard, whose international organization provides food, shelter, medical care, and humanitarian aid to those in need.
