Marcella Goodman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marcella Goodman (Perry, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Downs and Eloise Downs; her husband Charles "Bud" Goodman; her parents-in-law, Charles and Ada Goodman; her daughter Linda Fast; her grandchildren, Charles McNichols and Elizabeth McNichols; and her siblings, JoAnn Mercer, Gloria Jean Shaffer, Violet Jarvis, PeggyLomaglio, Robert Downs, Charles Downs and Marshall Downs, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Gary McNichols (Pam), Sandra Daubenmire, David McNichols (Sue), Pattie Elward and Laura VanCuren; her children-in-law, Rick Fast and Brenda Schwalbaugh; her grandchildren, Jason Fast (Jennifer), Rachel Billups (Jonathan), Julie Ebert (Nicholas), Stacey McNichols, Casey McNichols (Shannon), Chelcey Lewis, Cortney Anderson (Gary), Jim Daubenmire, Josh Smith, Traci Casey, Brian Elward (Kelly), Chad Elward, Dalton VanCuren and Marinda Young (Isaac); her siblings, Terry Downs (Peggy), Ernest Downs and Judith Lama; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Patterson. She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Wellman's Funeral Home (16451 OH-56, Laurelville, OH 43135). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the South Perry United Methodist Church (3875 Main St, Perry, OH 44081).
